Richard Burke, CPA
Richard A. Burke has been in the public accounting field since 1994 working at various public accounting firms in NYC. A few years after gaining his CPA license he decided to open his own firm, Burke and Burke Accountants Corp, serving individuals and small businesses in New York City and Long Island. Rich gained a special appreciation for tax planning and legal tax avoidance strategies, compliance, and IRS audit representation while working for Big 5 firm Arthur Andersen LLP preparing partner returns. Rich holds an accounting degree from Hofstra University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Rich specializes in taxation for individuals, businesses, and not-for profit enterprises and has done incorporations of sole proprietorships providing asset protection and tax benefits where applicable. Rich especially enjoys working with small business clients assisting them with payroll and financial service plan offerings to owners and their employees with a view to reducing on-going administrative costs while being compliant with federal, state, and local regulatory.

Tammy Taylor
Tammy Taylor is currently working as a Client Excellence Coordinator (CEC) for Red Rock Accounting Group with over 20 years of extensive experience working in an office environment. She graduated from college in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and has applied these additional skills over the past 11 years increasing her knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, gaining a special passion in the Accounts Payable field. Tammy utilizes her positive attitude to work hard and to be kind to others. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the movies, painting, and kayaking on the lake.

KaCee Koonsman was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. She graduated from Mesa High School and East Valley Institute of Technology in 2012, with a license in Aesthetics. She has been with the company going on 6 years now. Outside of work she enjoys reading and catching up on her favorite TV shows. She hopes to do more traveling and someday make it to Venice, Italy.

Jessica Griego joined our team at the end of 2022 where she come from a hospitality business. She comes with value in sales, marketing, and customer service. Jessica is currently using her skills as a Client Excellence Coordinator and Payroll Processor. Jessica is currently enrolled at Yavapai Collage working towards getting her degree in accounting. She was born and raised in Northern Arizona and loves to bake, spend time traveling and going on adventures with her husband and two daughters.

Emily Goffman
Emily Goffman is from Minnesota where she enjoyed the lakes and outdoors. After high school, Emily moved to Arizona for college and met her husband, Isaac, at ASU. After college, they moved to Missouri for a few years to be closer to family. In 2012, they packed up and moved back to Arizona where Emily obtained her associate in business from Mesa Community College in 2014; Emily joined the company that same year. She enjoys the different aspects of her Staff Accountant role and utilizing her customer service and organizational skills for bookkeeping, business returns, and sales tax returns. Outside of work, Emily loves spending time swimming, attending concerts, and traveling the country with her husband and their daughter, Zoe.

Susan Young
Susan Young joined us after moving from Vermont where she worked for two brothers who owned several companies and was their Business Manager: Bookkeeper and Marketing person for twenty-two years. After earning her Assoc in Science: Management degree from Castleton University she worked as their Graduate Program coordinator for several years. Before moving to the Verde Valley, she worked for a CPA firm in Pine Top where she was a payroll /bookkeeping associate. She loves to bake and cook utilizing fresh herbs from her garden, painting & hiking. She was involved with several horse related associations and was president of the VT Quarter Horse Association & VT Horseman’s Association and secretary for the Northeast Reining Horse Association.

Sierra Pardo
Sierra Pardo is the Client Excellence Manager at Red Rock Accounting Group. She was born and raised in Chandler, AZ and is a proud third generation to graduate from Chandler High school. When she is not working with her Red Rock team, she is focusing on her bakery Cups of Cakes. You can find her every Saturday at Gilbert’s Farmers Market. When not juggling the business, she is at home playing with her three daughters, husband and four large dogs.

Sharon Perez
Sharon Perez has been with Red Rock Accounting Group since 2020. She came to us after having worked for John Hall, CPA for 16 years. She is originally from Chicago, IL, but moved to Phoenix with her family when she was a child. Sharon has an associate degree in Retail Management from Phoenix College. Prior to working for John Hall, Sharon worked 19 years with Deer Valley Federal Credit Union, starting as the Loan Dept. Receptionist and working her way to Director of Lending, Compliance and Fraud. Sharon’s duties include tax preparation, tax review and accounting. She is in the process of earning her designation as an Enrolled Agent. Aside from work, Sharon and her husband enjoy sharing time with their three grown children and taking cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean. She also loves to read, scrapbook, take care of her kitty, baby desert tortoise and 12 box turtles.

Loretta joins our team with over 20 years’ experience in the accounting and human resource field. Loretta’s resume includes a variety of industries including licensed as a P&C insurance agent, construction accounting, HVAC service manager, Human Resources, and other accounting positions. Loretta went to college for Accounting, Business and Human Resources, becoming certified then receiving her degree in Psychology. She enjoys the different aspects of her role as Manager HR and Operations using her organizational, communication, empathetic and decision-making skills. Aside from work, Loretta and her husband have 7 children combined. She loves to spend time with her children, grandkids, quilting and traveling.
